This movie is the Bollywood debut of Naga Chaitanya. Moving to the story Manila has been represented as the girlfriend of Laal Singh Chaddha. The original concept of the story is adapted from the 1994 released famous American film, Forrest Gump. 

The trailer of the movie clearly displays in written words that the story is inspired by the 1986 Novel Forrest Gump. Sharing more details than the official trailer of the movie doesn’t clearly explain what the actual story of the movie is all about.

The filming of the movie has been done in more the 100 different locations in India. The first half starting of the movie scenes is shot in Chandigarh, Punjab. The shooting was started on 31st October 2019 and later in March 2020, it was stopped due to Covid-19 spread across the country.

But in the mid of September 2020 shooting restarted and the movie was scheduled to be released on Christmas of 2020.

But it was again delayed due to the close of all theatres by the government of India. But now after the orders of the Indian Government, all theatres are opened and Laal Singh Chaddha will hit the theatres on 11th August 2022. Despite this Laal Singh Chadha will reveal different events of Indian History as Laal Singh is represented as an autistic man with unbelievable understanding.

The music of the movie is composed by GIMA awards winner Pritam Chakroborty.

The complete full cast includes Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh. The film also includes scenes of guest appearances of Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor, and Kajol.
