Ryan was born in Philadelphia to an American family. But he later moved to Bensalem with his parents when he was only a nine-year-old kid. When he reached the 13th year of his life he faced a hard time in his life when his parents separated from each other. He started living with his father and stayed with him before his death. Ryan’s father died when he was in his college first years. He didn’t have any other choice but to start living with his mother.

When he appeared live in the competition, show viewers were wondering why Ryan is squinting and pressing his eyes. But let us tell you that he forgets his glasses at his home which is 3000 miles away in Philadelphia.

Before his 6th big win, he was competing at the show without glasses. But now he revealed to the media that he has received his glasses and thanked his mother for her support. Other than this he visited to compete in the show with only two dress shirts. He is repeating the same dress again and again. He brought only two dress shirts because he was not sure that he will continue in the game for this long.

“I have to give a shout-out to the wardrobe people because they did wonders with what I brought: two shirts and two sweater vests,” said Long. “That’s all I had. That’s all I could afford. I figured I wasn’t going to be there longer than a day.”

Ryan Long is married and a working man. He shared that he does a driving job to earn bread for his 8 years cute son name Nathan Long. However, he doesn’t speak about his wife and her work but he revealed his earlier life experience.

Ryan use to work as a Paratransit driver for SEPTA’s Customized Community Transportation Program. But after facing Covid-19 complications he left a job at SEPTA and switched to being a driver for various rideshare services to bear his expenses. And in May 2022 he participated in the Jeopardy! quiz show.

Ryan won $18800 in his first episode of Jeopardy!He played his 2nd game on 16th May 2022 and kept on performing very well. He competed with Nick dee and Divya Badri in his 2nd game.In his 2nd game by giving 20 correct and 4 incorrect answers, he grabbed $17200.In his 3rd game, he competed with Jason Smith and Justinne Lake-Jedzinak.Ryan won $27000 in his 3rd game by giving 24 correct and 2 incorrect answers.When he appeared on 18th May 2022 for the 4th game he competed with Adriana Ramirez and Audrey Kazan.In his 4th game again Ryan won and grabbed a winning amount of $16600.In his 5th game, he remained successful in crossing the $100000 amount and his total reached $105801.Ryan has also won his 6th game making 6 game-winning streak and his current winning amount total is $131801. He is all set to compete in his 7th game.
