Frank Fritz (born 11 October 1963, Age: 57 years) is an American Television Host, Antique Collector, and Antique Restorator from Davenport, Iowa, USA. He is well known for working in the American reality TV show American Pickers on History. Frank recently came into the spotlight when he was fired off on American Pickers, the show he had been working in for more than 10 years of his life.

Frank Fritz took his first breath on the 11th of October 1963 to his father Bill Fritz and his mother Susan Zirbes in the green city of Davenport, Iowa. Fritz will turn 58 years old in 2021, according to our resources he is not very superstitious but his zodiac sign is Libra.

Even when Frank was a kid, he loved to collect rocks, beer cans, and postage stamps. From which he gained some experience in collections before becoming an expert on antiques. Frank attended the Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa, and graduated in 1982, and then he attended the Sudlow Intermediate School, after that Frank did not pursue a college education.

Fritz‘s father Bill Fritz’s occupation is still unknown but from what it seems, Bill was a middle-class man who did his best to raise his kids. Frank was raised in a small home in Iowa where he collected rocks and showed his father.

There is no information available on his sister. It was released that in 1974, Bill Fritz left his wife Susan to have an affair with an unknown woman. Frank was then raised by his mother Susan Zirbes who married Richard Zirbe in the same year.

Frank’s stepfather Richard Zirbe was a tires salesman for a local tire shop whereas his mother Susan became a worker for a well-reputed local construction company. Unfortunately, it was announced that on 17 December 2003, Susan Zirbe passed away.

Since he is the cohost of a very famous and hit reality TV show, Frank always lived a life full of adventures and comfort. He is known for collecting bikes and his love for motorcycles dates back to his teenage days.

When Frank Frtiz was a teenager he used to work at Coast to Coast Hardware and Quad-City Automatic Sprinkler and labor there to put together money for a Harley Davidson. When he bought the bike his parents were really surprised and according to Frank, it was worth it.

Frank has had no luck in his love life in his teenage days. Now the 57-year-old collector has an ex-girlfriend called Dianna Bankson. Dianna is a divorced single parent and has a daughter named Paige.

Frank was always an avid collector but to everyone’s surprise, this was not his first profession. Fritz was a fire inspector in Des Moines and Cedar Falls, Iowa. Even when he was in the Fire Department, Frank used to collect Fire Department-related memorabilia and trinkets.

He left his job when Frank bought an item for 15 dollars and made a profit of more than 450 dollars. From there on he decided to become an antique collector and opened up Frank’s Finds in Savanna, Illinois. He collected many things like signs, old toys, and vintage motorcycles.

Along with his high school friend Mike Wolfe, Frank started appearing on the television show, American Pickers. The show first aired on 18 January 2010 and it follows two childhood friends who travel all around America in search of high-priced antiques and make a run for profit.

The friendship and the chemistry between the two can be seen clearly as both of them always shared the hobby of collection. They were so close that people started indicating that they are gay and considered them a couple. 

In 2021, it was announced that everyone’s beloved Fran Fritz would be quitting the American Picker. He left the show due to some differences between him and Mike Wolfe. Throughout the years it seems like the two have drifted apart.

So much so that Mike made a statement that in all the 10 years of working together, Frank Fritz did not even say 5 nice things about him. When talked about his return, Frank said that he would always want to return as this show was something that he loved to do. But Mike Wolfe confirmed that Frank will not be returning for the show.

There have been multiple controversies with Frank Fritz throughout the 10 years running of the show. Frank has been involved in a serious car crash after which he had to undergo multiple surgeries. Mike Wolfe revealed that Frank had to go through back surgeries.

During the 8th and 9th seasons of American Pickers, Frank revealed that he had a disease called Crohn’s disease after which he started losing weight rapidly and had to take some time off the show. The list of controversies goes on as our research revealed that Frank was once arrested for driving under the influence in 2017.
